PORTLOFTET in the HOUMBGAARDEN
(The Gate loft) Cozy apartment with 1 bedroom, double sofabed and rustique wooden bed and childrens bed in the living room.


Apartment approximately 50 m2 for up to 5 people + 1 child under the age of 5. Large patio with eating area. Living room with sofa corner and TV. Fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator with freezer compartment, stove, dishwasher, coffee maker, etc Bathroom with shower, water closet , sink, and washing machine. 1 bedroom with 1 small double bed. In the living room there is a rustique wooden bed from Røros 90 cm wide and 173 cm long and an old pull out bed for children.up to 5 years of age. Double sofabed for 2 people.
Duvets and pillows for 5 people + duvet for child. Bedroom faces backyard.

Cozy, newly renovated apartment, with some of the old conserved. The main house that Portloftet The Gate loft) is a part of, is over 300 years old.

The apartment is in Kjerkgata 11, in the middle of central Røros. Pedestrian street in the summer and every Saturday during the rest of the year. Walking distance to most tourist attractions. Røros has grocery stores open on Sundays, and late in the week. In Kjerkgata there are several places to eat, known for their good food. Patisserie and bakery with specialties nearby the apartments. Fresh pasteries and bread Sundays in the summer monthes. Bank with cash dispenser and pharmacy next to the apartments.

For all rent periods this applies:
Arrival after 3 p.m. Deaprture before 12 a.m.
Other arrival and departure times can be arranged)

Smoking is not permitted in the apartments.
It is possible to smoke in the backyard.
Pets are not permitted.

Cars can not park in the backyard
Motorcycles and bicycles can be set in the backyrad with mutual agreement.
A parkingcard for a car at a parking near the apartments is in the apartment.

Røros has an airport with daily departures to and from Gardermoen)
Train or buss to and from  Oslo. Hamar, Trondheim.
Railroad/bus station in walking distance to the apartments.


CHRISTMAS IN RØROS
The Friday before the first Sunday in Advent we decorate the apartment for
Christmas. For the Christmas tree we use pine.
De cozy streets of Røros are decorated for Christmas at the same time. The
Lighting of the Christmas tree is always Saturday before the first Sunday of
Advent. This is an event  where  Santa Claus, and a large number of children
and adults attend and it takes place right by the apartments.
